毕业于QS世界排名 16 的英国爱丁堡大学， MSc Language Teaching，课程结合了应用语言学， 语言教学以及 TESOL 实践。 研究方向为语言测试和语言教学，主要为从不同的角度（合理性，可靠性，有效性等）评估语言测试的出题是否符合学生/考生的能力以及评分标准的合理性， 评估语言测试的范围从苏格兰 National – 5 到商业考试，例如， IELTS, TOFEL, PTE 等， 以论文 distinction 一等的分数毕业。 在英国爱丁堡期间，曾在当地 Lorne Primary School当过短期助教。
Miss Zeng obtained her bachelor’s degree in English Education in Fujian Normal University and graduated with distinction degree. She was then offered a place in the University of Edinburgh, the top 16 university in the world, and joined the MSc Language Teaching program, a program that accepted no more than 40 students every year. The program was shared with MSc Applied Linguistics, MSc Language Teaching and TESOL, which combined hard theories with the effective teaching practices perfectly. Her research focuses on language testing for the most part, which is to evaluate the reliability, validity, credibility and authenticity of any test, from Scotland National 5 to business test, like IELTS and TOFEL. The evaluation of the rating scales is also an essential part of her research. Her performance in the master' s gained her the opportunity to enter a local primary school, being a teaching assistant, through which experience she further advanced her teaching, hence bringing the advantages of western educational principles to her real teaching practice.
